New Moon Post 4

With Edward gone, there is not much to look forward to in New Moon. I am continuing to mourn. In addition to mourning however, I am also bitter. Especially bitter towards “those” who try to take Edward’s place. Unsuccessfully. I am developing a strong hatred for Jacob. He is so abusive!!!! I can’t stand the way he tries to take advantage of the situation selfishly, for his own benefit. Edward is Edward, Jacob, cannot, should not DARE to take his place! What nerve!
If Jacob truly loves Bella, he will understand and not be such an abusive jerk. It is evident that Bella loves Edward, and he is NOT in this picture. Who is he anyway?
I understand that Bella needs to talk to someone, needs to pull herself out of her massive depression, but I think she goes overboard when taking comfort of Jacob’s presence. This is ridiculous.
I only wish Edward would never have left in the first place, then Jacob would never have had the nerve to mess with a vampire’s girl. I can’t wait for Edward to come back and beat his butt to pieces. Only, I completely understand the reason behind Edward’s departure. And I admire him for it. He is not only physically strong (and capable of splitting Jacob’s backbone in half) but he is also intellectually strong. To draw himself away from Bella BECAUSE of her is truly honorable. That takes some will power. If only Jacob were that strong and keep away from Bella because of her own benefit.
Something I really enjoy now that Edward is gone however is Bella’s attitude. I know she is depressed and in a dangerous emotional state. But I LIKE it! This is the way she should have been. She needed to push for what she wanted, and now, she is. She is pushing and pushing it hard. Now she is strong, and just as strong as Edward. Now let’s cross our fingers for these two strong lovers to reunite!!!
